National Council of Immigrants and Refugees (NCIR e.V.)

The National Council of Immigrants and Refugees (NCIR) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Magdeburg, Germany. Our mission is to support refugee women and youth in their process of integration and to empower them to actively participate in a diverse and democratic society.

We are committed to promoting democratic values, gender equality, cultural exchange, and social participation. NCIR strives to ensure that migrants and refugees become aware of their rights, engage in social and political life, and contribute to building peaceful coexistence.

Our Areas of Activity

• Strengthening the participation of migrants in cultural, political, and social activities.

• Organizing and supporting educational programs, seminars, conferences, and exhibitions in Germany, particularly in Saxony-Anhalt.

• Promoting intercultural dialogue and cooperation between the host society and migrant communities.

Our Philosophy and Identity

The National Council of Immigrants and Refugees is not the representative of a single country or a specific group. From its name and structure, it is clear that the council represents all communities of migrants and refugees from different countries. Within this council, representatives of diverse migrant communities are present, ensuring that the voices of all groups are heard.

This council is the result of years of dedicated efforts by friends and colleagues from various sectors of the migrant community. Through their cooperation and tireless commitment, the foundation of this organization was laid. Their shared goal has always been to establish a body where all migrants and refugees can see themselves represented and find their rightful place.

Our Invitation

We warmly invite all migrants and refugees to join this organization, to stand together in solidarity, and to work collectively for the defense of rights, active participation in society, and the strengthening of shared values.

NCIR operates on the principles of selflessness, transparency, and inclusivity. All resources of the organization are used exclusively for its statutory purposes. The leadership and board work mainly on a voluntary basis, with the shared belief that tolerance, mutual understanding, and solidarity are the foundation of a healthy society.

Through cultural, educational, social, and political initiatives, we strive to create an environment where migrants, refugees, and local citizens can learn from one another, build trust, and embrace diversity as a common strength.
